James Wirt was born in Houston, Texas, where he grew up before attending Texas Tech University and completing his degree in Business. James had an authentic Texan experience, working on an oilrig in effort to save money. James, both intellectually and artistically curious, watched interviews and films with some of his favorite American actors such as those from Lee Strasberg’s legendary Actors Studio. He discovered within himself a profound admiration for the craft and for the idea of exploring emotional depth. He left Texas and moved onto New York to study acting, beginning at Sanford Meisner’s Neighborhood Playhouse in 2002.
With nine years of experience living in New York City and honing his craft with some of the city’s greatest professors and mentors, James has shown incredible depth and range in his latest projects. Recently, James starred in an adaptation of Anton Chekhov’s play The Cherry Orchard, titled Adam’s Apple in New York, written and directed by John Strasberg. Additionally, he has been seen in at least a dozen theatrical productions in New York including: Closer; Saturn Return; Granny’s House; Six Seconds in Charlack; Hamlet; Much Ado about Nothing; All’s Well That Ends Well; Troilus and Cressida, and so on.
James is a member of John Strasberg’s Accidental Repertory Theatre.
James has played supporting and lead roles in several independent shorts and features. As for shorts, most notably, ABRACADABRA directed by Julie Pacino, and starring Beth Grant, Sean Kanan, Ty Simpkins, and Jennifer DeLia. This short film screened in several international cities, including Cannes, Hollywood, and Sao Paulo. James also lead the cast in the short film I AM AN ISLAND by Jennifer DeLia and featuring Margherita Missoni and Josephine de La Baume, which played in Cannes, London, New York, and Los Angeles.
James most recently played opposite Golden-Globe nominee Julie Stiles in a sold-out run of PHOENIX (dir. Jennifer DeLia), which played Off-Broadway at the iconic Cherry Lane Theatre.
Savannah Welch – “Kaia”
Savannah has been singing, songwriting, and acting her entire life, which has had her between Nashville, Austin, and Los Angeles. Her father, Kevin Welch, is world-renowned songwriter allowing Savannah to grow up in an environment rich with talent and inspiration. At a very young age, Savannah revealed herself as a natural and powerful actress and performer, selectively choosing the projects she would take on.
In 2006, Savannah had a major role in the feature JUMPING OFF BRIDGES which premiered at South by Southwest and was released by New Day Films. Savannah then went on to play the lead in the short film LOVE, SADIE, which received acclaim at several film festivals. In 2009, Savannah was directed by the legendary Terrance Malick in his film TREE OF LIFE starring Sean Penn and Brad Pitt. Savannah has also appeared in the features CLOWN HUNT; THE VIRGINITY HIT (Sony Pictures, 2010); SPRING EDDY; and THE LEGEND OF HELL’S GATE: AN AMERICAN CONSPIRACY with Henry Thomas. She has performed the lead in the feature THE SINNER, and appeared in DEEP IN THE HEART, starring Val Kilmer and D.B. Sweeney. Most recently Savannah appeared in Richard Linklater’s BOYHOOD.
In addition to her extensive acting experience, Savannah maintains a successful musical career. She is a singer/songwriter in the group The Trishas, who tour extensively, and are signed to Warner/Chappell Music. Aside from playing the lead female, Savannah wrote and performed songs for the film BILLY BATES.
Margherita is the eldest grandchild of Ottavio and Rosita Missoni. With her personality and taste in fashion, Margherita embodies the image of the Missoni style.For the past 9 years she has acted as an effective ambassador for the family brand. This talent for social interaction led her to become deeply involved with thecommunication side of the company.
In 2006, Margherita worked with the Estée Lauder Companies to launch the “Missoni” scent, inspired by three different generations of women: Rosita, Angela andMargherita herself. Following the launch in 2006, she also provided her image for the campaign shot by photographers Mert & Marcus. After this successful debut,Margherita appeared in another campaign by Mert & Marcus as spokeswoman for the new Missoni “Acqua”, the second fragrance launched in the summer of 2007.
As the brand ambassador, Margherita travels for Missoni attending trunk-shows, store openings and various other events; she does interviews, models and poses forportraits by famous photographers such as Mario Testino, David Bailey, Gilles Bensimon, Mert Alas & Marcus Piggot, Patrick Demarchelier, Walter Chin, EnriqueBadulescu, Bruce Weber, Jurgen Teller, Steven Meisel and others. At the age of 20, she was considered by Harper’s & Queen magazine as one of the world’s 100most beautiful women.
Margherita has also studied philosophy both at the Universitá Statale di Milano and at the Columbia University in New York where, following that period, she alsoattended the Stella Adler acting school and the Lee Strasberg Theater Institute. In order to grow in her profession as an actress, she also trained at Black Nexxus withSusan Batson.
She has starred in numerous plays such as the notorious Jean Genet’s “The Maids” (Les bonnes), in 2006 with Mariacarla Boscono, and “Discarica” at the 2008 TodiTheatre Festival with Vladimir Luxuria.
Since the spring of 2009, Margherita started getting involved with the Missoni brand on a different level, becoming part of the design team, and from the Autumn/Winter 2010 show she has been designing and managing the development of the accessories and the Missoni Mare collection; following the footsteps of her motherAngela, the Maison’s Creative Director.

Joséphine de La Baume
Joséphine de La Baume studied classic and contemporary theater in Paris at the Cours Viriot, in London at RADA and in New York at Black Nexxus. She starred in several American plays before she was cast in the feature film BOOGIE WOOGIE with Danny Huston and Heather Graham. She then acted in THE PRINCESS OF MONTPENSIER (official selection of Cannes Film Festival 2010) directed by legendary French director Bertrand Tavernier. She performed as the lead in “L’Une deL’Autre” at the Théatre du Lucernaire in Paris. Joséphine also starred opposite Vincent Cassel in the acclaimed film about Romain Gavras’ entitled OUR DAY WILLCOME. Her next role was in Lone Scherfig’s new film ONE DAY (2011) playing opposite Jim Sturgess and Anne Hathaway. She then went on to play Madeleine,a femme fatale secret agent in JOHNNY ENGLISH REBORN opposite Rowan Atkinson (July 2011). Most recently, Josephine has been notably featured in a major role in KISS OF THE DAMNED and LISTEN UP PHILLIP.
Joséphine recently traveled to NYC to act in Nadia Szold’s first feature film JOY DE V (2011) with Claudia Cardinale. She has just finished the shooting of CONFESSION starring Peter Doherty, Charlotte Gainsbourg and August Diehl. Joséphine will be shooting a four-episode series for ITV 1 starting in April 2011.
Joséphine has a band called SINGTANK in which she sings and plays the keyboard. SINGTANK has signed with Warner label and are currently working on theiralbum produced by Nellee Hooper (producer of Bjork, Massive Attack, U2, Madonna). An EP is slated for release in May 2011, followed by a single and the albumrelease in September 2011.
Joséphine has done campaigns for Hogan, Zadig & Voltaire as well as the final Agent Provocateur campaign. In addition, she was shot for the next MANGO andMaison Michel catalogues. In 2006, Joséphine was featured in French Vogue photographed by Mario Testino in an article entitled “The New Hemingway Generation.” She was also featured in an issue of American Elle in a story about “The New Wave” in New York City and appeared in a 10 page story about her role as an actressfor the magazine CLAM. Recently she was featured in an article in JALOUSE about her style and projects.

Julie Pacino – Producer
As Producer, Julie most recently completed the stage production, PHOENIX, starring Julia Stiles and James Wirt at The Cherry Lane Theatre in Manhattan. Julie also worked on feature film BILLY BATES, due for release in late 2014.
Julie also produced music videos ANOTHER MURDER IN NEW ORLEANS by musical legends Bobby Rush and Dr. John, featuring Blinddog Smokin’, WILY KATASO by renowned artists AMADOU AND MARIAM featuring TV ON THE RADIO and BREAD AND CIRCUS by UK artist EBONY BONES.
In 2009, Julie wrote and directed her debut short film ABRACADABRA starring Beth Grant (No Country for Old Men, Donnie Darko), Ty Simpkins (Revolutionary Road, Pride & Glory), James Wirt (Billy Bates), Sean Kanan (Young and the Restless), and Jennifer DeLia. The short screened in several international cities including Cannes, Hollywood, and Sao Paulo.
Prior to directing, Julie studied intensively at the New York Film Academy as well as screenwriting and cinematography at UCLA, where she had a softball scholarship.
Julie is a partner with Jennifer DeLia in their film production company Poverty Row Entertainment and the two are also partners in their creative branding company, Unofficially Unlimited. Poverty Row is currently producing the feature film THE FIRST starring Lily Rabe, Michael Pitt, and Julia Stiles. Jennifer will direct.
Robert MacCready – Producer
Robert raised partial funding for and contributed to development and production of BILLY BATES. Robert’s affinity for filmmaking began in early childhood, as he created his first movie at the age of 12. He attended film school at the University of North Carolina and following, produced the show Texas Live, which he also contributed writing, directing, and interviewing.
In 2006 Robert moved to Bangkok, Thailand where he was co-curator and lead producer of The Bangkok International Art Festival, the country’s first citywide art biennial. Among many others, Robert worked with Nation Multimedia, The Japan Foundation, The British Council, The Goethe Institute, The Bangkok City and National Government, The Stock Exchange of Thailand, Silpakorn University, SF Cinematheque, numerous embassies, as well as with premiere artists from Thailand and over 20 other countries. Some of the artists involved with the festival included: Apichatpong Weerasethakul (Cannes Palme D’or 2010), Keiko Itakura (Bjork’s Illustrator), Banksy, Bela Tarr, The Stan Brakhage Estate, and Daido Moriyama. Robert also, completed a spec script for an HBO series while in Thailand, entitled THE BIG MANGO.
Upon returning to the US in 2008, Robert co-founded the production company Clayhead Pictures. Currently, Robert is in production with several music videos for groups such as Emily Bell & John Evans and Thee Oh Sees. Robert is also currently developing a feature film about Ernest Hemingway & Mexican bullfighting, and a feature length healthcare documentary.
Steven G. Kaplan is the founder and President of Rainstorm Entertainment, Inc. a privately financed feature film development, production, finance and sales company. He is also the principal of Launchpad Releasing a North American feature film distributor. Launchpad is currently distributing JOHN HENRY: THE STEEL DRIVING RACEHORSE.
As a film producer, Mr. Kaplan produced the award winning TERROR TRACT starring the late John Ritter and Bryan Cranston in 2000. He was the primary producer of THE BIG EMPTY starring Jon Favreau, Rachael Leigh Cook, Daryl Hannah, Kelsey Grammer, Joey Lauren Adams, Adam Beach and Sean Bean. Lionsgate released the film theatrically and on DVD. Showtime Networks purchased cable rights.
Mr. Kaplan also served as the primary financier and producer for the critically acclaimed documentary F*CK, released theatrically by ThinkFilm as well as WWII documentary RED WHITE BLACK & BLUE which appeared on PBS/ITVS in November, 2007. Mr. Kaplan’s other producer credits include BIG BAD WOLF (Universal) and THE LOST COLONY (Sci Fi Channel/ Allumination Filmworks).
Mr. Kaplan is currently in post production on the feature documentary STATE OF CONTROL, shot on location in Tibet, Nepal, China, India, Japan, Denmark, Canada and numerous other locations. He is currently in post production on the feature film BILLY BATES and feature documentary SUNSET STRIP. Mr. Kaplan is currently developing , producing and financing a slate of ten feature films budgeted between $15-85 million. He is also attached as a producer to a number of television series, both scripted and non-scripted. He is currently writing, producing and financing the feature film, HELL KITTY. In addition to producing, Mr. Kaplan arranges domestic and foreign distribution for independent filmmakers. To date, he has arranged distribution for MOOLA (Allumination/PeachArch), THE WONDER OF IT ALL (Indican), HUMBLE PIE (Monterey Media), RAZOR EATERS (Shoreline), KIDS IN AMERICA (Universal/Launchpad), THE BIG EMPTY (Lionsgate/Showtime), LENNY THE WONDERDOG (Allumination), THE VILLAGE BARBERSHOP (Monterey Media), FUCK (ThinkFilm/Showtime), THE HEART IS A DRUM MACHINE (E1), and VALLEY OF THE HEART’S DELIGHT (Indican). He is currently attached as the worldwide sales agent for SUNSET STRIP.
Steve is a partner in the Beverly Hills based entertainment law firm, the Independent Law Group, LLP where he represents writers, directors, producers, financiers and other creative talent in various entertainment related transactions. He is also an entrepreneur, having founded and operated a number of other business ventures.
Steve graduated from U.C.L.A. in 1985 with a B.A. in Political Science, attended Oxford University where he studied economic structures and literature and earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School in 1988. He is an adverturer, scuba diver, collector of American Pop Art and world traveler. He resides somewhere deep in the Santa Monica Mountains.
Jennifer DeLia – Writer/Director/Producer
As Director and Producer, Jennifer most recently completed the stage production, PHOENIX, starring Julia Stiles and James Wirt at the Cherry Lane Theatre in Manhattan. Jennifer began directing in 2008 with her short film, I AM AN ISLAND. The short played in Cannes, London, New York, and Los Angeles, and was later expanded into her directorial debut feature film, BILLY BATES. Jennifer wrote, directed, and produced BILLY BATES. It played at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2012 amongst other festivals and showcases and will be released theatrically and digitally in 2014. Jennifer has directed a range of music videos for renowned artists such as Amadou & Mariam featuring Kyp & Tunde of TV on the Radio, Ebony Bones, Esseri, Blinddog Smokin’ and musical legends Dr. John and Bobby Rush.
Jennifer has nearly two decades in the entertainment industry, having come up through physical production on major feature films such as Oliver Stone’s WORLD TRADE CENTER and international director Wong Kar Wai’s MY BLUEBERRY NIGHTS. Jennifer secured financing for and associate produced the film EXPLICIT ILLS, which won the Audience Award at South by Southwest in 2008. Jennifer also secured funding for and line produced the award-winning feature documentary SLINGSHOT HIP HOP that premiered at Sundance in 2008. Jennifer produced and acted in the short film, ABRACADABRA, directed by Julie Pacino.
In 2008, Jennifer produced a party in honor of Obama’s win. The event was hosted by The Roots, and dj’d by Samantha Ronson at Le Poisson Rouge in New York. Jennifer’s ability to produce with extremely high production-value combined with her understanding of art and pop culture, lead contemporary artist David LaChapelle to bring Jennifer onboard his team for his Helmut Newton Berlin show. On behalf of LaChapelle, Jennifer acquired sponsorship from the brand Puma for an art exhibition and celebration which hosted 4000 guests. Following her success in Berlin, Jennifer produced the fashion line HEATHERETTE’s biggest Fashion Week event to date.
As a humanitarian, Jennifer produced a successful fundraising event in New York, which enabled her to do meaningful work with youth in Brazil, resulting in an exchange between the Brazilian favela youth and the kids from LaChapelle’s documentary RIZE. She intends to continue her work in Brazil and in other parts of the world, working to bridge the gap between cultures through the arts.
Prior to producing and directing, Jennifer worked in advertising, writing copy for commercials, and putting together shoots, at a mid-size agency called Dark Horse Media in Tucson, Arizona. She also worked in radio and TV promotions, and was a radio disc jockey at the #1 urban station in Tucson, followed later by a stint at MTV News in New York as well as VH1 in Los Angeles.
The collection of Jennifer’s aforementioned experiences is what breathes life into her philosophy of creating projects with the utmost integrity and passion, as well as on the cutting edge of popular culture. Jennifer is a partner with Julie Pacino in Poverty Row Entertainment and the two are also partners in their creative branding company, Unofficially Unlimited. Ron Stein formed Four of a Kind Productions as a vehicle for the development, production, and distribution of innovative and provocative projects across the evolving cinematic landscape. Early success came with the “The Elephant Garden”, directed by Sasie Sealy, which won the 2008 Tribeca Film Festival short film category by depicting a coming of age story of a younger sister’s world changing when her older sister falls in love (Cinetic Rights Management – FilmBuff).
Ron has gone on to produce several notable films that are currently in release. The 2-time Golden Globe winner and 4-time Oscar nominated (including Best Picture) “The Kids Are All Right”, directed by Lisa Cholodenko, a unique and timely comedic drama of two children conceived by artificial insemination by their two Moms who bring their birth father into their family life (Focus Films). “The Romantics” is a Zeitgeist love story and generational comedy that breathes new life into the genre (Paramount Pictures, FOAK). “Meskada”, directed by Josh Sternfeld, is a crime thriller involving people from two towns in a battle born of circumstances beyond their control (Warner Bros, Anchor Bay, Red Flag Releasing).
Ron is in post-production on “Someday This Pain Will be Useful to You” (based on bestselling novel of the same name by Peter Cameron), directed by Roberto Faenza, about a vulnerable teenager with a deep perception of the world and no idea how to live in it (US – FOAK / Italian – RAI Cinema co-production). FOAK maintains a diverse and eclectic roster of projects for 2011 including: cyber thriller “SarahN_12″; human trafficking action thriller “Alphanumeric”; sci-fi transmedia title “Kantaros”; and musical comedy “Vampire Summer Camp.”
Ron is the founding partner of the North American distribution company Red Flag Releasing with former Warner Independent execs Paul Federbush and Laura Kim. He also serves on the board of directors of Cinetic Rights Management – FilmBuff and on the advisory board for the Pelham Picture House.
